The upcoming 42nd edition of the International Tourist Fair, scheduled to take place in Jardines del Rey from 2nd to 5th May, has garnered significant interest from tour operators and travel agents across the Caribbean region and worldwide. According to officials from the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), more than 500 foreigners and 80 journalists from various continents and markets, with expectations to reach 1,000 participants, are anticipated to attend. The fair, hosted at the Gran Marena Cayo Coco Hotel, will showcase the sector's management, business opportunities, and professional prospects available in Cuba.
The Gran Marena Hotel, situated in Cayo Coco, was opened in December 2015, and has recently undergone significant renovations in anticipation of the event.
